The Center for Latin American Studies at the University of Florida hosted the Fall 2018 Meeting of the CLASP Executive Committee November 29-30, 2018 in Gainesville, FL. New initiatives discussed included strategies to further enhance language training resources for member institutions, Latin American Studies course-sharing, increased support for junior scholar research and teaching, exciting publication opportunities, and new membership categories to expand CLASP’s reach and ensure organizational diversity.
