Membership Rates and Payment

Membership benefits include access to workshops on teaching and outreach, resources for teaching at the K through post-secondary level, information on developments in other member programs, cross-institutional collaboration and networking and a subscription to the CLASP listserv. Term of membership is calendar year, January 1 to December 31.

We ask you to pay membership dues and any sponsorships for one or two years. 

Levels of Membership

Individuals: $50
K-12 Schools: $50
Community Colleges: $50

Academic Institutions with:

• Total enrollment of fewer than 5,000 students: $100
• Total enrollment of 5,000-10,000 students: $125
• Total enrollment of more than 10,000 students: $150

Other Organizations: $150

Two-Step Membership Instructions

1. Complete and submit your CLASP Membership Form (even if you have completed it previously). If sponsoring other member(s), please submit a CLASP Membership Form for each sponsored member. 

2. Pay your membership. Dues Are Payable To: CLASP – Consortium of Latin American Studies Programs (Federal ID number: 33-0637085). If needed, use this CLASP Membership Invoice.

To pay with a debit or credit card:  Please use PayPal (below) to process your payment. You do not need to have a PayPal account.

1. Scroll down to “Membership Fees | Pay with Debit or Credit Card” 
2. Select your Membership Option 
3. Enter your name (if Individual) or your institution’s or organization’s name
4. Click “Pay Now”
5. A Paypal window will open. For “Quantity,” enter 1 if renewing for one year; Enter 2 if renewing for 2 years
6. Click on “Pay with Debit or Credit Card.” You may have to enter your email address to create a guest account. This will take you to a secure form on the PayPal payment processing site where you can enter your Debit/Credit Card details and pay the invoice.
